Weekend Thrift finds part one…

Thrifting is one of my absolute favorite hobbies. In fact I’d go as far as to call it a life style! My house is pretty much completely furnished in yard sale, thrift store, junk store and curbside finds. I can’t remember a time when I wasn’t hopping in the car with my mom on any given weekend morning seeking out some yard sale treasures! I’m fairly sure I was sale hunting in utero! >.<
Sooo I decided I really should start posting my weekly finds.

This past friday my sister and I ventured in to a few of my favorite stores and these are some of the things I found.

This 1 1/2 qt green Pyrex casserole dish. It was in mint condition and at a super good price so I couldn’t pass it up. I like the color, kinda in between the lime and the darker green in the Spring Blossom collection.

This little fridge box was at one time a pretty lime green color however it seems to have had a hard life. I had to save it none the less…

A little Fire King bowl…

These cute unmarked custard cups, that after some research on Pyrex Love , I’m pretty certian are Fire King “Swiss Chalet” pattern…

Also this really cute embroidered flower necklace/pendant which when I flipped it over…

had a mirror on the back!!

and lastly these really awesome soldered edged pictures that look to be made out of an old cigar box!

That’s all from Friday. Found some more goodies Sunday and Tuesday which I’ll post a little later!

As always, lots of love from Lucky and I

  1. Hee hee. I love your comment about sale hunting in utero. My children were for sure and I am pretty sure I was at farm auctions while my dad was bidding on vintage tractors. I love your little unmarked cups. Sherry 🙂
